Western Heritage Art Exhibit Coming to SMA Saturday, November 3

The Western Heritage Art Show Western is coming to the Jo and Tom Henderson Gallery at the Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, November 3. On display will be etchings, paintings, watercolors , bronze and wood sculptures with a Western theme. The Gallery is located at 201 Fourth Street and will be open before and after the concert by Asleep at the Wheel on Saturday, November 3 and again on Sunday, November 4 between 2 and 4 p.m. The Gallery will open to the general public at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
After the concert will be a reception and art show for APPLAUSE Members. Sunday afternoon’s art show is opened to the general public.
Artists that will be featured include Larry Conoyer, Mike Malone, Pat K. Hawley, Barry Arthur,  Billy Joe Jay, Curt Zane, Jim Callendar and other well known artists with connections to our region.  Art collectors loaning art include Dr  Bud and Sherie Alldredge, David and Jane Carothers, Patrick and Barbara Gerald, Arthur and Danna Maberry, J.V  and Betty Martin , and Gay Young as well as artists  Cornoyer, Maloney, Hawley, and Jay.
