Two Nolan County men arrested for Capital Murder

Two men have been arrested for the murder of a Snyder man who was shot and killed in 2013, and other individuals have been identified in connection to this crime.
Christopher Devon Boyd, 21, of Roscoe, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 in Nolan County. He’s being held in the Scurry County Jail on a $500,000 bond for a Capital Murder charge for the death of Justin Vaughn, 25.
Ray Anthony Gutierrez, 26, of Sweetwater, was arrested on the same charge in Nolan County two days later. He is being held in the Nolan County Jail, and his bond has yet to be set.
Vaughn was shot and killed inside his home on the 200 block of S. 36th Street in Snyder in March of 2013.
The Snyder Police Department says “other individuals have been identified in the case, [but] their identities are not being released at this time.”
No other information is being released as well, “as not to jeopardize the investigation or hinder locating the other parties identified in this case.”
