Sweetwater to host its 44th Annual Arts and Crafts Christmas Show this weekend


The Sweetwater’s 44th Annual Arts and Crafts Christmas Show will be this weekend December 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m and also on Sunday, December 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The show will be held at the Nolan County Coliseum Annex located at 280 Coliseum Drive in Sweetwater.
The craft show was originated 44 years ago by Curtis Stone and he did an amazing job putting on the show yearly.
Lola Fortin and her kids now host the show each year.
There will be approximately 70-75 vendors from surrounding areas that are participating in the event. It gives everyone a chance to experience a lot of unique shopping
Santa Claus will also be at the show Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday Mrs. Claus will join him from 2 p.m to 4 p.m.
For everyone that attends will have a chance to win door prizes every 30 minutes. The prizes will be all donated from the vendors.
The admission to the craft show is a non perishable food item or a donation. All funds and non perishable food items will be then be donated to the Dyess Air Force Base Military in Abilene
