Sweetwater Family Loses House in Fire; No Injuries

The Sweetwater Fire Department received call regarding a a house fire on Wednesday at around 3:15 a.m. of a house fire on the 2400 block of Bristol Drive. All seven occupants of the residence were at home when a fire started. All seven made it out of the home safely.
The Sweetwater Fire Department was able to bring the fire under control within thirty minutes.
The cause of the fire is unknown and is currently under investigation with the Sweetwater Fire Marshall.
The Red Cross has been contacted as the family lost mostly all of their possessions in the fire. The family, consisting of three adults and three s children of school age and one infant were reported to be staying with relatives overnight.
The family was able to get the keys for their car in leaving the home, as the family vehicle was not damaged in the fire.
Donations can be dropped off at Trinity Church. Trinity Baptist Church has agreed to be a drop off point for the people involved in the house fire Wednesday morning.
