SW, Snyder to meet for 3rd time in tiebreaker

There will be a third District 5-4A meeting between the Sweetwater and Snyder girls basketball teams after they wound up in a tie for second place this season.
The teams, who split their first two games, will play for the No. 2 and No. 3 playoff seeds in 5-4A after Snyder defeated Lake View 62-46 on Tuesday to complete its regular season. Snyder and Sweetwater will meet Friday in Anson at 6:30 p.m. to decide second and third place after they each finished the regular season with 5-3 records.
Greenwood (8-0) ended the regular season Tuesday as the No. 1 seed after beating Big Spring 41-38. The Lady Steers (2-6) enter the playoffs as the No. 4 seed.
