Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital (RPMH) Rural Health Clinic has announced the addition of Kathleen Taylor to its team. Taylor, a certified adult nurse practitioner (ANP), started seeing patients at the clinic on May 1.
“Even before Kathleen joined our team, I knew she would be an incredible asset for us and the community. Since she started, her contributions here at the clinic have surpassed our expectations,” says Edgar Branch, administrator of the RPMH Rural Health Clinic. “Her compassionate approach with patients makes a difference and is what our community expects from us.”
Adult nurse practitioners are critical to the daily operation of healthcare facilities such as the RPMH Rural Health Clinic. Focused on providing primary healthcare to patients, ANPs are skilled professionals who can evaluate, diagnose and manage many acute and chronic health conditions among teenagers, adults and seniors. Also, ANPs often educate patients on various health conditions and prevention tactics as well as overall wellness strategies.
