Rattlesnake Round Up begins this week, community asked to use safety first

The 60th Annual World's Largest Rattlesnake Round Up takes place at the Nolan County Coliseum Complex this week on March 9th - 11th, 2018. The Rattlesnake Review Parade takes place in the afternoon of Thursday, March 8th (Ash to West Broadway to Elm St to the Coliseum).
The roadways will be packed with cars and people not watching where they are going. Most of the activities take place in and around the Nolan County Coliseum Complex on Elm, FM 419, and bypass FM 1544 (15th St). The carnival (day and night) is located across from Cape & Son on FM 419. The cook-off will be in Newman Park with open air vendors located near Elm (FM 419) and FM 1544.
The week-end events include the Rattlesnake Round Up, Gun & Coin Show, Carnival, Car Show, Cook Off, Vendors, Parade, Food, Mis Snake Charmer Queen Pageant, Dances, and more.
