Plowboys lose to CP in finale

ROSCOE — Needing an 11-point win for a playoff berth, Roscoe’s football team fell short against Cross Plains to end its season on Friday, as the Buffaloes rumbled to a 45-20 win for the No. 3 berth in District 7-2A Division II.
Cross Plains held Roscoe scoreless until the fourth quarter in building a 26-0 lead over the Plowboys, who had all but five of their 256 yards passing. Their three touch-downs in the game against Cross Plains came on a 25-yard pass from Junior Martinez to Antonio Aguayo and two runs by Martinez of 2 and 1 yard, respectively.
