Nolan County Board of Realtors to Sponsor Real Estate Forum at Argos

Event is open to public

The public is invited to attend a come-and-go event on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 4:30 to 7:00pm, at Argo’s Brewhouse & Bookseller in downtown Sweetwater. The Nolan County Board of Realtors will be hosting this forum to review its acomplishments and contributions throughout the years.
The local Board may be one of the smallest Boards in the state, but it has remained a vital part of the community and the Texas Realtors organization since it was chartered in 1977. For many years, the Board has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors from each of the county’s high schools. And they have supported worthy organizations such as the Goodfellows with annual donations. Last year the Nolan County Board was awarded the prestigious Strike Force Award from the Texas Association for its grassroots involvement in helping pass the MDD election.
The local board also sponsors its own Multiple Listing Service, providing its clients and customers with state-of-art exposure of its listings on the internet. “Through the MLS, our listings are instantly marketed across the world wide web on many platforms, such as and Zill, so there’s no need to look for a Realtor outside our market to get the best exposure possible,” says MLS chair, Debbie May. Free snacks will be available. Entertainment will feature singer-songwriter, Morgan Reatherford, from Taylor County.
“We also encourage the public to bring their questions and comments on any issues important to them about real estate,” says 2019 Board President, Scott Morgan.
