Sweetwater’s offense, which in a Week 2 road win at Big Spring reached the 40-point plateau for the first time in nearly two years, did it again Friday at home when it faced regional power Wichita Falls Hirschi at Mustang Bowl.
The difference? A 70-41 loss to the Huskies seven days after a 48-27 win over the Steers. Hirschi scored an incredible 50 points to Sweetwater’s 35 in the final two periods to pull out the victory in a game that lasted over three hours.
