After finishing the season 1-9 and having to stay home for the football playoffs in 2018 for the first time in five years, Sweetwater is back in the postseason.
The Mustangs’ reward? A date Friday in Lubbock with No. 5-ranked Lubbock Estacado, which comes in with a 10-0 record.
Sweetwater is 4-6, but is currently on a two-game win streak and feeling confident entering the 8 p.m. contest at Lowrey Field after last Friday’s 66-40 win at Monahans to secure the No. 4 berth out of District 1-4A, Division II.
