PLAINVIEW — The location — Plainview’s Greg Sherwood Memorial Bulldog Stadium — of Friday’s non-district football game may have been neutral, but nothing else was remotely in Roscoe’s favor in the team’s 54-0 non-district loss to Gruver.
Even a one-hour weather delay couldn’t stop the Greyhounds as they raced to a 32-0 first-half lead once play began.
Gruver, now 5-1, added to its lead in the second half as the Plowboys dropped to 2-3 in their final non-district game, ending their win streak at two games. Roscoe was held to just 24 total yards. It hosts Hamlin at 7 p.m. Friday in its District 7-2A, Division II opener.
