SAN ANGELO — The Sweetwater girls soccer team had its first-ever official match on Tuesday at San Angelo Central and did “great” despite Central’s 6-0 victory by holding the hosts to just a single goal the second half, coach Pam Lawrence said. “We learned a lot for our tournament (starting today at Lubbock),” Lawrence said.
Goalie Julia Mosley had 13 saves in Tuesday’s match for the Lady Mustangs.
