Sweetwater’s tennis team lost to Midland Greenwood by the narrowest of margins — 10-9 — in its final fall match this past Thursday.

Boys singles — Isaiah Pena won 4-6, 6-4 (10-8 tiebreaker); Max Berry lost 1-6, 5-7; Calen Hughes lost 1-6, 3-6; Noah Gonzales lost 2-6, 1-6; Austin Ramirez won 6-0, 6-2; Nathan Humphries won 6-4, 6-7 (10-7 tiebreaker).
Girls singles — Lily Smola won 6-3, 7-6 (7-5 tiebreaker); Stephanie Gallardo won 3-6, 6-1; Riley Dodd lost 4-6, 5-7; Jillian Virgen lost 4-6, 3-6; Victoria Pena lost 6-4, 4-6 (5-10 tiebreaker); Allison Marlett won 6-3, 6-1.
Boys doubles —Isaiah Pena and Brody Frieda lost 3-6, 1-6; Max Berry and Noah Gonzales won 3-6, 7-6 (8-6 tiebreaker), 10-4; Austin Ramirez and Nathan Humphries won 6-2, 6-0.
