Fund-raiser set up for Nolan County Deputy injured in crash

A fund-raiser has been set up to help a Nolan County Deputy with injuries sustained in a vehicle crash.
A t-shirt sale has been started to help the Deputy Sheriff while he is on the road to recovery
Deputy Sheriff Randall Rodriguez was seriously injured in an accident in February. As a result of the impact of the crash, Rodriguez broke his pelvis, ribs and fractured his lower back. A social media site states that the Deputy Sheriff is making strides in his recovery but it’s been slow-going in regard to the extent of his broken bones and the painful physical therapy that accompanies such debilitating injuries but Rodriguez hopes to be out of the hospital and come home soon.
“The Sweetwater Police Patrol Association has been gracious enough to reach out to me and offered assistance in fundraising for Randall during this time.”Nolan County Sheriff’s Office Patrol/Dispatch Sergeant Stacy Villanueva said.
T-shirts are for sale with all of the proceeds of the sales going to deputy Rodriguez and his family.
Anyone interested in getting the word out or purchasing a t-shirt may contact Sergeant Villanueva at 325-320-4723 or email her at:
One can also order from the Sweetwater Police Patrol Association Facebook homepage.
Donations are also being accepted.
