Four SHS volleyball players garner 5-4A recognition

Sweetwater High School had four players earn all-District 5-4A recognition in volleyball for their outstanding play this past season.
Hannah Mobley made the first team and Bri Moriel is on the second team, while Charity Thompson and Mia Valdez both received honorable mention.
Mobley, Moriel, Valdez, Kierstyn Thompson, Jazzane Potts and Keyana Tillis earned district all-academic recognition fpr maintaining a 90 grade point average over six weeks of competition.
Kaylee Cheek of district champion Greenwood was named the overall MVP and Natalie James of Snyder received offensive MVP honors, while defensive co-MVPs were Logan Terrazas of Big Spring and Ashton Rowoldt of Greenwood.
