Drone Race Day is Friday in Roscoe

ROSCOE — The Roscoe Collegiate ISD on Friday will serve as the host for the first-ever Blackland Drone Race Day.
Roscoe will be competing with high school drone racers in three race events from Christoval and ATEMS on Friday. The races will be starting with the Parrot Mambo at 10:30 a.m. at the Roscoe Events Center.
Other events will include the Bebop Races that will start at 12:45 p.m. at the Roscoe football field, rodeo and custom races at 2 p.m. at the football field, a Battle Bots Royal Rumble at 2:30 p.m. (Events Center hallway), Star Wars Drone Battle at the Events Center at 2:50 p.m. and awards ceremony at the Events Center at 3:15 p.m.
Admission to all events is free and concessions will be available. The Race Day, which hopes to become an annual event, is sponsored by Parrot Drones and Blackland Smokehouse.
