The Big Country Invitational Art Show has been cancelled until further notice.
Citing growing anxiety at the growing public health concern over the Coronavirus, the art show has been postponed until later notice. The Community art show featuring local artists; wood working, needlepoint, sculpture, jewelry, photography, graphic arts, metal works, oils, water colors, acrylic among other artwork is erring on the side of caution at the moment.
Public gatherings have taken a hit in recent weeks as the desire has almost reached a fever-pitch on how to quell fear and stop the spread of the fast moving virus.
The photography workshop scheduled for March 21 will also be postponed, as well.
With Broadway going dark and theaters, arenas, concert venues and galleries across the nation shutting down temporarily to stem the flow of the virus, it remains to be seen what will happen to the annual Musica Latina show set for May and the pandemic will affect the APPLAUSE season.
