Commissioners’ Court Approves Quitclaim deed; Pipeline, Waterline Agreements; Proclaims June 16-23 Amateur Radio Week

With the new, high-tech security screening machines in place in the Nolan County Courthouse lobby and stocked and locked gun cases lining the hallway leading to the courtroom, the Nolan County Commissioners’ Court met in regular session on Monday, June 10 at 9 a.m., in the County Courthouse Sweetwater.
The Court got right to business and approved minutes from May 29th & June 3rd meetings without any changes or edits.
The Commissioners’ Court then discussed and consider approval of a quitclaim deed for 0.263 acres out of Section 26, Block 22, T&P Railroad Company Survey, Nolan County, Texas.
The motion carried on this agenda item.
The Court then heard a brief presentation on Amateur Radio and then approved a Proclamation to pronounce June 16th-23rd as Amateur Radio Week. The Proclamation reads: “Nolan County Amateur Radio Association 806 E. 16th Street Sweetwater, Proclamation of Amateur Radio Week
