Commission green lights WASP museum expansion

Of the more than 400,000 Americans who lost their lives during World War Two, there were 38 specific casualties which stand out in the hearts and minds of many. It's those 38 lives — lives of Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs) — which will be commemorated with the expansion of the WASP WWII Museum, located just west of Sweetwater, according to Alan Carmichael, a local attorney representing the WASP WWII Museum Board of Directors.Read the full story in Wednesday's print edition.
