Brownwood Police Searching For Armed, Dangerous Fugitive

BROWNWOOD, KTXS)—Brownwood police are searching for an armed and dangerous fugitive.
Luis Rivera Cintron, 33, is wanted for sexual assault of a child. Around 10 a.m. Saturday, police were called to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Morris Sheppard Drive where they say Cintron -- who was armed with a handgun -- had threatened family members. When officers arrived they spotted Cintron walking along the 4200 block of Hwy 377.
They say he ran and jumped into a creek.
Cintron was last seen in the area of County Road 235 and County Road 234, south of Brownwood.Cintron was wearing a grey hooded jacket, black shirt, and black shorts.
Cintron is approximately 5’ 2”, 175 lbs. and has short black hair. He has numerous tattoos on his chest, back and head.
