Blackwell honors its top athletes

Several Blackwell athletes were recently honored at a banquet held at the school.
Peyton Hinckley was the outstanding boys athlete and Kiley Cummings was outstanding girls athlete, while Zach Panzyer and Tori Campos were honored as newcomers of the year.
Cameron Coldiron and Vickie Davis received Fighting Hornet awards and Devan Clower and Darrian Kenney were Most Improved athletes. Nathaniel Shipman and Emilee Sanderson were Scholar Athletes and Elizabeth Meyer was recipient of an appreciation award.
Individuals who received the top honors in their sports were Joe Sanchez, football; Jonathan Schroeder and Kiley Cummings, cross country; Brendan Scott and Tori Campos, tennis; Michael Lowry and Madison Solis, basketball; Joe Sanchez and Hunter Perry (boys) and Cami Davidson (girls), golf; and Peyton Hinckley and Kiley Cummings, track.
