Blackwell’s golfers have promising seasons halted

After going to the regional tournament in 2019, the Blackwell High School boys golf team made up of Blade Wood, Zach Panzer, Sam Brinkman, Caleb Sirmons, Chris Geick and Joel Guia entered 2020 with high hopes for a return trip.
Coach Dale Means also felt good about the regional chances of his girls team entering this year and junior transfer Cami Davidson in particular. Davidson, who actually transferred to Blackwell last year but was unable to compete at the varsity level, was the JV district division medalist in 2019. And based on Davidson’s scores, “she would have (qualified for regionals) last year,” said Means.
