Two Mustangs named MVPs

Two Sweetwater players earned MVP honors, and a total of 10 Mustangs have been given all-District 2-4A baseball recognition.
Pitcher-infielder J.P. Poe was named District Co-MVP and outfielder Isaiah McGee was chosen as the district’s Defensive MVP.

Summer Shootout set

Roscoe Collegiate has an-nounced its plans to hold a girls and boys basketball Summer Shootout, with the dates set for June 11-12. All games will be at the Roscoe Collegiate high school and middle school gyms.

These 13 graduating Sweetwater High School seniors have been selected to participate next month in athletic events in three West Texas cities as part of the Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Festival.
