The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 47 calls for service, issued one citation and made four arrests on Jan. 3, 2013.

The SPD received 24, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Criminal mischief — 600 block of E. Texas.
• Forgery — Sweetwater.
• Forgery — Sweetwater.
• Possession of a controlled substance — 500 block of NW Georgia.
• Criminal mischief — 500 block of NW Georgia.
• Theft — 400 block of Hubbard.

Arrested by SPD:
• Marcus Franklin, 34 — Aggravated assault/injury to a child/family violence assault.
• Lori Hollis, 27 — Theft.
• Female juvenile — Harassment.
• Pamela Cooper, 40 — Possession of controlled substance/warrant.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had six calls for service, served no civil papers and made no arrests on Jan. 3, 2013.

Calls for service:
• Stray livestock — West Bradford Lane.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 230 west bound.
• Prisoner transport — Raymond, TX.
• Information only — CR 190.
• Suspicious incident — CR 247/Lake Sweetwater.
• Assist SPD/attempt to locate — Circle Drive.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to 12 ambulance calls and four fire calls over the past 24 hours.
• Nine ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• Four fire calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• Three out of town transfers.
