The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 42 calls for service, issued four citations and made three arrests on Dec. 14, 2011.
The SPD received 21, 911 calls.
Calls for service:
• Theft — 600 block of Lamar.
• Theft — 600 block of Lamar.
• Burglary of a vehicle/criminal mischief — 1500 block of James.
• Information only — 900 block of Roscoe.
• Obstruction/retaliation — 100 block of Bales.
• Information only — 200 block of E. Fourth.
Arrested by SPD:
• Christian Coppler, 30 — Driving while license invalid.
• Cody Farley, 19 — Warrant.
• Olga Torrez, 18 — Warrants.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served no civil papers and made seven arrests on Dec. 14, 2011.

• Christopher Grant Guzman, 27, of Abilene — Warrant/ family violence assault causes bodily injury.
• Marcus Taboris Parker, 28, Homeless — Warrant/bond forfeiture.
• Johnny Mac Cunnings, 27, of Sweetwater — Warrant/theft.
• Maria Angelina Aguayo, 17, of Roscoe — Family violence assault causes bodily injury.
• Raul Martinez Rodriguez, 27, of Roscoe — Family violence assault causes bodily injury and immigration.
Arrested by DPS:
• Jimmy Wayne McQueen, 20, of Sweetwater — Minor in consumption.
• Clifton Vaughn Salazar, 35, of Sweetwater — Driving while intoxicated.
Calls for service:
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 223 west bound.
• MHMR transport — San Angelo.
• Attempted suicide — W. Alabama Ave.
• Vehicle accident — Highway 84.
• MHMR transport — San Angelo.
• Prisoner transport — Taylor County.

• Family violence assault — 7th Street, Roscoe.
