Two people were transported on Tuesday afternoon after another 18-wheeler wreck at the US 84 bridge that is currently being repaired after being hit last year by an 18-wheeler. The road had seen several wrecks in the past few months. The Sweetwater Fire Department received the initial call for emergency services at 3 p.m. One person was transported by ambulance to Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital and another person was flown to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Westbound Interstate 20 in Nolan County was closed at mile marker 238 due to the overturned 18-wheeler and traffic was diverted into Roscoe to get back onto I-20. The closure lasted well into the evening until the wreck was cleared. Shown are personnel from Rosado's Wrecker Service in Sweetwater flipping the 18-wheeler.
