Ten indicted by Grand Jury

Indictments heard on Tuesday, November 13

A Nolan County Grand Jury indicted 10 people on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. Four of those indictments were sealed. The following cases were true-billed:
Ashley Ryan Runnels was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, namely heroin, a state jail felony. Court documents state that Runnels knowingly possessed less than one gram of heroin on May 8, 2012. Her bond was set at $7,500.
Justin Wayne Logston was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, namely heroin, a state jail felony. Court documents state that Logston knowingly possessed less than one gram of heroin on May 8, 2012. His bond was set at $7,500.
Felipe Ramirez III was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, a state jail felony. Court documents state that Ramirez knowingly possessed less than one gram of heroin on May 5, 2012. His bond was set at $7,500.
Casey McShane Chenault was indicted for evading arrest with a vehicle, a third degree felony. Court documents state that Chenault intentionally fled from a member of the Sweetwater Police Department when the peace officer was attempting to lawfully arrest the defendant. Chenault's bond was set at $7,500.
Rosalio Gutierrez, Jr. was indicted for driving while intoxicated, a third degree felony. Court documents state that Gutierrez operated a motor vehicle while intoxicated on June 24, 2012. Gutierrez was also convicted of driving while intoxicated on April 11, 1989, in the Nolan County Court at Law and on Aug. 5, 1993 in the 132nd Judicial District Court of Scurry County. His bond was set at $5,000.
Sandra Carol Tumpek was indicted for forgery, a state jail felony. Court documents state that Tumpek forged a check. Her bond was set at $5,000.
