Teen dies in ATV crash

One person was killed and one injured in a one vehicle All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash on Sunday evening in Scurry County. This crash occurred at 7:59 p.m. on Mountain View Drive, one mile north of Tobosa Drive and four miles south of Snyder.
Lance Davis, 12 years of age from Snyder was the driver of the ATV. Davis was taken to Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder with leg injuries.
Jaret Scott Graham, 14 years of age from Snyder was a passenger on the ATV. Graham was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Boyd at 8:54 p.m. The body was taken to Combest Family Funeral Home in Lubbock.
The ATV had been traveling south on Mountain View Drive. The driver lost control and drove off of the roadway into the west ditch, striking a mailbox, cattle guard and tree. The ATV came to rest in a field, upside down. The weather was clear and the road was dry. This crash is being investigated by Corporal Jason McMillan.
