Suspect sought in Roscoe robbery

Shown is a store surveillance video image that was captured of the suspect that robbed a female subject of $200 cash on Friday inside of the Chillerz #5 Shell convenience store located at 800 12th Street in Roscoe.

On Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at approximately 6:30 p.m., a black male subject wearing a white t-shirt and long, dark gray athletic shorts, with white stripe down the outside of each leg, entered the Chillerz #5 Shell convenience store located at 800 12th Street in Roscoe, Texas and robbed a female subject of $200 cash, according to the Nolan County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect is believed to be a black male in his early 30s, approximately 5'9"-5'10" and weighs around 175 pounds. The suspect had some facial hair, which included a short goatee.
It was reported that the suspect fled the scene in a 2011-2012 Ford Edge, pearl white in color, with possibly a handicap placard hanging from the rearview mirror. In an attempt to recover the money taken, the victim was dragged from the parking lot on to the north frontage road of IH-20, prior to falling from the vehicle. She suffered minor injuries. At this time, it is unknown if the suspect was armed, however, no weapon was displayed during the commission of the crime.
