SHS students chosen as HOBY delegates

Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) delegates have been selected from Sweetwater High School. Mickenzie Brownlow will serve as a delegate and Hannah Heredia as an alternate.
Every spring, more than 9,000 deserving high school sophomores from across the country are chosen to represent their high schools in HOBY State Leadership Seminars. The seminars allow students to recognize their leadership talents and apply them in becoming effective leaders in their home, school and community.
Selected students attend a three day seminar and participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in their state, all while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact in their community.
Mickenzie is the daughter of Brian and Debbie Brownlow and Hannah is the daughter of Tony and Diamond Heredia.
