RPMH offers free cholesterol screenings at Health Department this morning

February is American Heart Month to observe this occasion Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital will be at the Sweetwater-Nolan County Health Department (SNCHD), located at 301 E. 12th, on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. to offer free cholesterol screenings. There will be pamphlets and information available on cholesterol. The health department would like to thank Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital for serving the community for many years with free screenings through the health department, and hope the residents continue to take advantage of this opportunity, because together "we care about your health."
Immunization clinics are held every Wednesday from 8-11:30 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. and the second Wednesday of each month until 6 p.m. 
Family Planning services are available through several funding sources. Services include pap smears, breast exams, pregnancy testing, methods of birth control and screening and testing for sexually transmitted diseases. For an appointment call 235-2869.
