Raymond Andrew Hughes, 89, of Sweetwater, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012.
He was born on August 1, 1922 in Necessity, TX to William Hughes and Betty Hodges Hughes. He married Eleanor Smith on June 3, 1959, and was a WWII Veteran. He proudly served in the United States Army.Â
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eleanor; son, David Hughes; and daughter, Sulynn Hughes-Husbands.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
