Husband and wife celebrate their business to the community.
Ricky and Norma Guzman, of Sweetwater, gathered with close friends and Chamber ambassadors for a ribbon cutting of their hair salon called Pure Joy Salon.
Pure Joy Salon has been opened since February of 2016 and continues to strive with business. Norma graduated from Texas College of Cosmetology in Abilene and has been a licensed cosmetologist for 17 years working in high end salons around the state during those years. She has worked in Austin, San Antonio and the Metroplex area.
“I feel like I wanted to bring the big city hair dressing to a small town,” said Norma.
Ricky has been a licensed cosmetologist for 5 months and recently graduated from NeeCee’s College of Costmetolgy in July.
“I’m thankful for the career and I was inspired to pursue the field by my wonderful wife,” said Ricky.
The Guzmans have been longtime residents of Sweetwater and raise their four girls here. They are Feliciti, 14; Makailyn, 7; Genesis, 4 and Zynli, 3.
Pure Joy Salon is located at 1011 East Broadway Street.
Ribbon cuttings promote awareness of companies, leadership, location, and products/services.
