January 7, 2013

Oletta (Leta) Storch was born Oct. 13, 1923, and passed away on Jan. 5, 2013. She was married to the love of her life, Dick Storch. As a loving mother and friend to many, Leta showed her love by cooking and supporting people around her. She was active in her communities and loved teaching Sunday school in the Methodist church. She was multi-talented. In business, she was a realtor, a broker, dental and medical assistant and often created many recipes as a Weight Watcher’s supervisor.
Leta was very creative and had a love of painting and antique clothes. She loved to paint scenery and also helped her husband with his passion, restoring antique cars. She painted and upholstered many of Dick’s restored, antique cars and would wear vintage clothes from the era while attending antique auto shows.
She is survived by her son, Danny and daughter-in-law, Joan Storch. She has three grandsons, two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren and is lovingly known as “GG”.
Funeral services will be held at Resthaven Abbey Chapel in Lubbock, TX on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
