Ola Mae Bunnell

Funeral services for Ola Mae Bunnell, 92, of Roscoe, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Adam Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Bunnell died Friday, Jan. 11, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 7, 1920, in Grapeland, Texas. She married Jimmy Golden Bunnell on April 24, 1940 in Elkhart, Texas. Ola Mae came to Roscoe in 1968 and opened Busy Bee Tax Service, Busy Bee Donut Shop and the Roscoe R.V. Park. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Roscoe, served on the Roscoe City Council and had been curator at the Roscoe Museum. She had also served on the Roscoe Community Center board. Ola Mae was a staunch supporter to the community of Roscoe.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Atwood of Glendale, Ariz.; sons, Kenneth Bunnell of Roscoe and Larry Bunnel and wife Rose Mary of Farmington, N.M.; daughter-in-law, Karen Bunnell of Albuquerque, N.M.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O.C. and Ollie Gunnels Lasiter; her husband, Jimmy G. on Feb. 7, 2002; son, Jimmy David Bunnell; and two sisters.
