Natalie Rose to Perform in Sweetwater on Friday, January 12; Day to Be Proclaimed “Natalie Rose Day”

The non-profit Sweetwater House Concert Association is hosting their Inaugural event with a free concert by Natalie Rose on Friday, January 12 at the Sweetwater Country Club. Rose will be performing three shows in Sweetwater on January 12, including two performances at the Sweetwater High School.
Rose is no stranger to the stage. Rose began singing and performing at an early age and by age eight, she was a veteran of karaoke stages all over Central Texas. By age eleven, Rose began her recording career in Nashville, Tennessee. She has shared the stage with artists such as Ronnie Milsap, Ray Price, Charley Pride, Roy Clark, Johnny Bush, Dale Watson, The Band Perry, Crystal Gayle, Aaron Watson, and countless others.
Her first single, “Conformity”, recently reached #7 on the Texas Regional Radio Report.
Her albums have been produced by the likes of Ray Benson (Asleep at the Wheel) and Kent Wells (producer and lead guitarist for Dolly Parton).

Rose has been nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year for 2017, by Big Star Radio Music Awards. Rose was also she was a 2017 Finalist for Best Female Vocalist by the Texas Regional Music Awards.
In addition to her performances at the Sweetwater Country Club and Sweetwater High School, Sweetwater mayor Jim McKenzie has declared January 12 as “Natalie Rose Day”.
The Sweetwater House Concert Association is a volunteer-based group of people dedicated to sharing great musical talent with fellow live music fans. The association is made up of Steve and Jan Smith, Tracy Young, Richard and Kaitlin Fergeson, Scott and Carla Morgan, and Gill and Gaynell Cherry. The Association’s Mission Statement is to create intimate concert experiences that entertain and inspire, so as to build connections between its members, guests, and artists.
The Country Club’s dining room and cash bar will be open to non-members. Opening for Rose will be Kyndra Vaught.
