GRANBURY — Melissa Haygood Jacks, 56, of Granbury, passed from this life to her great reward in Heaven, on April 14, 2013 in her home in Granbury, surrounded by her family.
Service will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Stonewater Church in Granbury.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Deleon Cemetery in Deleon, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to fund mission trips with Stonewater Church of Granbury.
Melissa was born June 13, 1956 in Loraine, Texas to Garland and Maxine Peterson Haygood. She graduated from Roscoe High School and attended Tarleton University. She married Bryan Jacks on August 11, 1995 in Marble Falls, Texas. Melissa worked as the receptionist in the Cardiology unit at Lake Granbury Medical Center. She was a faithful member of the Stonewater Church of Granbury. She worked with stained glass and treasured and loved her family.
Survivors include her husband, Bryan Jacks; children, Derek Jacks, Heather Hardman, Jaec and Lacy Hardman; grandchildren, Morgan Hardman and Rayleigh Hardman; parents, Garland and Maxine Haygood; sister, Charlotte and Reid Cave; niece, Savanah Cave; and aunts and uncles, Jimmy Peterson, Lynne Peterson Diane Williams and Ann Smith.
