Some local children will be missing their favorite eating establishment for a few months beginning on Easter Sunday, March 31, when the local McDonald's will close for renovations.
According to manager Lia Martinez, the restaurant is scheduled to re-open in July or early August.
The entire establishment will be knocked down and totally rebuilt, boasting a bigger restaurant and a double-lane drive-thru for customers on the go. The playground is expected to be smaller, but will have more activities, according to Martinez.
Current employees will be transferred to the McDonald's restaurant in Snyder until the local restaurant is rebuilt.
