Paul Sadler, a U.S. Senate candidate, will stop in Sweetwater on Wednesday for meet and greet

Sweetwater Mayor Greg Wortham is hosting an informal “meet and greet” session for U.S. Senate candidate Paul Sadler from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 117 E. 3rd Street, on the north side of the Nolan County Courthouse square in Sweetwater. The public is invited to come by and meet Sadler.
Prior to the campaign, Sadler served as the leader of the multi-state Wind Coalition and has been a leader in fighting for more investment in one of Nolan County’s leading employment sectors. He has played an important role in bringing substantial development to Sweetwater through wind energy projects and transmission infrastructure.
As a state legislator from 1993-2003, Sadler was chair of the House Public Education Committee and worked actively with Republicans and Democrats to find effective funding solutions for Texas public schools.
Voters can find out more about Sadler via the neutral Texas Tribune website at www.texastribune.org or via his campaign website at www.sadlerforsenate.com.
This is an informal opportunity to meet the candidate and discuss issues. This event is not a political fundraiser.
