The Reading Program Party took place at the County-City Library on Wednesday morning, July 18, 2012. The party was held for those who turned in their blue reading logs.
Dianna Adams and Joe Rivera, members of the Sweetwater Community Band, kicked-off the party by leading the children in songs and telling riddles and jokes. Ice cream with assorted toppings was later served, and the readers also took part in a scavenger hunt and received award bags that included a certificate.
