Lone Star Ag Credit collecting for canned food drive

October 19, 2012

Lone Star, ACA (Lone Star Ag Credit) appreciates the communities they live and work in and wanted to find a way to give back to those communities that would represent Agriculture. In the month of October, Lone Star will hold a canned food drive at all of their branch locations, but with a competitive twist. Each branch is in the running to also receive a $100 check to go towards their pantry of choice if they collect the most food.
The Sweetwater office will be collecting for Goodfellows. All donations can be made at Lone Star Ag Credit, 400 East 3rd Street in Sweetwater by Oct. 31.
“We were excited when we heard about the food drive. What a great way to bring our community together and represent Agriculture at the same time,” states Tim Weldon, with Lone Star. “Come join us and be a part of this worthy project!”
