Grand Jury indicts 12

A Nolan County Grand Jury indicted 12 people on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012. Eight of those indictments were sealed. The following cases were true-billed:
Anthony Dylan Bentley was indicted on three counts including sexual assault, a second degree felony, indecency with a child by contact, a second degree felony and indecency with a child by exposure, a third degree felony. The victim was younger than 17 years old at the time of the crimes around Feb. 1, 2012. His bond was set at $25,000.
Samuel Ojeda was indicted for possession of marijuana, a third degree felony. Ojeda possessed between five and 50 pounds of marijuana on July 5, 2012. His bond was set at $7,500.
Jesus Alarcon, Jr. was indicted for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, a state jail felony, on June 10, 2012. His bond was set at $5,000.
Patrick Sean Vantine was indicted for driving while intoxicated, a third degree felony, on Feb. 25, 2012. He had been convicted of driving while intoxicated on July 8, 2009 in the County Court of Scurry County and on Jan. 25, 2012, also in the County Court of Scurry County.
