Five of Sweetwater High School’s basketball players received All-District 5-4A boys recognition for their outstanding play this season.
Kobe Clark made the first team for the second straight year, while J.L. Solis also was named to the first team.
Kiante McCoy was named to the second team, while two other Mustangs — Tristan Longoria and Ky Hoover — earned all-district honorable mention. All five players are seniors.
Wylie, which ran away with the District 5-4A title this season, had the overall MVP (Dylan Isenhower), co-offensive MVPs (Steven Lopez and Kyle Roberts), defensive MVP (Sam King) and newcomer of the year (Payton Brooks).
