Family Access provides parents with student information

"Family Access" is available on the Sweetwater ISD website at

Sweetwater Independent School District offers Family Access as a way for parents and guardians to keep up with what and how their students are doing at school.
Family Access is a web-based information and communication center designed to provide parents and guardians with the answer to, "How was school today?"
Once parents and guardians have done the paperwork for Family Access, they do not need to re-apply. If parents and guardians did not do the paperwork last year, or if you are new to the district, they may fill out an application at the student's campus. Parents and guardians only need to do the paperwork one time and separate paperwork for each child is not needed. Just one form per family is all that is needed. Parents and guardians will be notified when their access is ready and they may come by the Administration Office or their child’s school between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, to receive a username and password.
On the Family Access site, parents and guardians will be able to view a student's grades, current report card, daily assignments, attendance, class schedules, emergency contact/ student address information, health records, food service (parents and guardians can add money to their child's lunch account from any campus), discipline, activities and test scores.
Parents and guardians can e-mail school personnel from the site, print reports, update their email address, retrieve their "forgotten" login and passwords and sign up for e-mail notifications.
"Family Access is a valuable tool for our parents," said Sweetwater ISD Superintendent Terry Pittman. "It has many features and I highly encourage all parents to take advantage of this great technology feature."
