Cleburne, TX — Clarence Blair, 81, of Cleburne, formerly of Texarkana, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2013 in Cleburne.
There are no services scheduled.
Mr. Blair was born in Sweetwater on June 28, 1931, the son of Annie Pearl (Daniel) and William Clarence Blair.
He served his country in the United States Navy. Mr. Blair was an officer with the Sweetwater Police Department and also worked for the Texas DPS for a short time. He was later a construction supervisor.
Mr. Blair was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
He is survived by his sons, Clarence Wayne Blair, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Battle Creek, Mich., C. Wayne Blair of Odessa and Gary Blair of Cashier, N.C.; daughter, Jennifer Jowers and husband Roy of Big Spring; step daughter, Angela Perkins of Gatesville; brothers, Dwayne Blair of Cleburne and Irwin Blair and wife Nelda, of Beckville; and five grandchildren.
