The Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting on Thursday for Laundry Express, run by Gwen Boyd and Mechele Campa. Laundry Express is located at 12727 South IH20 in Roscoe, next to Retta Mae's restaurant and is the first business of its kind in Nolan County. The business offers laundry services and uses high quality and environmentally sensitive equipment. Their equipment uses true-steam technology which leaves clothing and other laundered items virtually wrinkle-free. Allergen removal cycles are also available and special washing procedures for extremely dirty or greasy items are used. Pick-up and delivery is also available for a minimal charge. Boyd opened Laundry Express on June 3. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
