Funeral services for Bobbie Faye Harris, 75, of Sweetwater, will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Fourth and Elm Church of Christ with Mike Crowley officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Harris died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
She was born May 20, 1937, in Merkel. She married Bob Wylie Harris on Feb. 3, 1956, in Sweetwater and they have been together for 60 years. Bobbie was a member of Fourth and Elm Church of Christ. She has lived in Sweetwater for 57 years and was a graduate of Highland High School. She was selfless, giving and a loving mother who served her family and held them together.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Harris of Sweetwater; sons, Mark Harris and wife Becky, Russell Harris, Ronald Harris and wife Bonita, Wesley Harris and Christopher Harris and wife Kimme; daughter, Kristina Gaspar and husband Chris; grandchildren, Stacy Balderas and husband Lee, Marsha Faye McCann and husband Matt, Dillon Harris, Danielle Harris, Aaron Harris, Lesleigh Hodges and husband David, Bryan Harris and wife Stephanie, Kevin Harris, Madison Faye Harris, Alyssa Gaspar, Jacob Gaspar, James Gaspar, Alexis Gaspar and Zac Gaspar; great-grandchildren, Shaina Balderas, Antonio Balderas, Keanu McCann, Jenna McCann, Declan McCann, Makenzie Harris, Karbin Hodges, Matthew Hodges and Ethan Hodges; sisters, Shirley Dupont, Linda Ingram and Chris Reed; and brother, Benny Ingram.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Grace Ingram; and sister, Mary Sue Sugart.
Pallbearers will be Matt McCann, Lee Balderas, Chris Gaspar, Chris Harris, Dillon Harris, Kevin Harris and Aaron Harris.
