The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 41 calls for service, issued one citation and made five arrests on Oct. 30, 2012.

The SPD received 14, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Counterfeiting — Sweetwater area.
• Terroristic threats — 800 block of Circle Drive.

Arrested by SPD:
• James Schorer, 49 — Public intoxication/evading.
• Noe Perez, 37 — Driving while license invalid.
• Balvina Gutierrez, 30 — Warrants/driving while license invalid.
• Jesus Gonzales, 32 — Warrants.
• Trevor Jones, 22 — Warrants.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had five calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Oct. 30, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Matthew Lee McQueen II, 21, of Sweetwater — Judgment/failure to appear.
Arrested by DPS:
• Jonathan Neil Houston, 26, of Sweetwater — Unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of controlled substance (cocaine).

Calls for service:
• Alarm — North Highway 70.
• Inmate transport/dental — E. 15th Street.
• Court Bailiff — 32nd Judicial District Court.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 260 west bound.
• Reckless driver — Highway 84.
