The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 42 calls for service, issued three citations and made two arrests on Oct. 11, 2012.
The SPD received 21, 911 calls.
Calls for service:
• Assault — 300 block of Lamar.
• Theft — 500 block of E. Broadway.
Arrested by SPD:
• Robert Santiago, 26 — Warrant.
• James Schorer, 49 — Public intoxication.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 10 calls for service, served two civil papers and made one arrest on Oct. 11, 2012.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Steve Garcia Lopez, 45, of Sweetwater — Warrant/sex offenders duty to register life/annually.
Calls for service:
• Reckless driver — Highway 84.
• Close patrol — Idlewild Creek Road.
• Information only — FM 2035.
• Theft — CR 126.
• MHMR transport — Abilene.
• Inmate transport/medical — E. 12th.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 260 west bound.
• Cruelty to animals — FM 608.
• Information only — I-20/Main, Roscoe.
• Suspicious incident — Highway 153.
